…and more snow for tomorrow?

We just received a weather alert for a winter storm watch beginning Thursday morning at 6:00 am. Mother Nature is having a bit of fun with us this year.

We had a visitor yesterday morning. This picture is grainy as it was taken from a distance but you can tell it is a coyote. He walked across the lake to Echo Rock, then decided not to attempt the climb up the rock and headed toward the public beach. I lost site of it shortly after that as it started snowing heavily with big white flakes.

It’s unusual to see a coyote during daytime hours.

It’s April and Still Snowing

This is turning into the winter that won’t end.  The ground is still snow covered and the lake is still frozen. Campers should plan on bringing their ice skates this year
